Spaghetti and Cheese

This was a staple of Don's family when he was growing up. Quick and easy and great as leftovers.

  • 1 block colby cheese chunked
  • 1 box spaghetti
  • 1 large can tomato sauce
  • 1 medium can tomato sauce
  • 1 medium can sliced mushrooms drained
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste


  1. Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain.
  2. To spaghetti pot, add sauce, mushrooms, black pepper, and salt. Stir.
  3. Return drained spaghetti to pot and add cheese. Stir.
  4. Continue cooking, on low heat, for approximately 6-8 minutes to allow cheese to just melt, Stirring occasionally.
