Things Memorized: Monday Listicles
I have tons of things memorized. What do you have memorized? Your old locker combination? Your crush’s phone number from middle school? Today’s Monday Listicle topic: 10 Things You Have Memorized was suggested by Robin. My brain is full of useless information. I always say if you are ever on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and get an obscure question, call me as your phone a friend. Chances are, I know the answer. Before I forget, next week’s topic is 10 Ways to Show Love, suggested by Ashlee.
10 Things I Have Memorized
- John Adams, Thomas Jefferson and James Monroe all died on July 4th
- The first CD made in the USA was Bruce Springsteen’s “Born in the USA”
- The first video ever played on MTV was “Video Killed the Radio Star”
- The country code for Russia is 007
- Mr. Rogers was an ordained minister
- They say Holy Toledo because there are more churches per square mile than anywhere else in the United States
- The Declaration of Independence was written on hemp paper
- Jim Morrison from the Doors was the first rock star to be arrested on stage during a performance
- More Monopoly money than actual money is printed daily
- Tom Sawyer was the first novel ever written on a typewriter
And, that my friends, is why my head is filled with useful useless, random facts! And trust me, that is only the tip of the iceberg…

Now if I can just remember all of these useful fact I will have a bunch of great trivia to throw out at my next cocktail party or family dinner! I love it!
Trust me… there are tons more floating around my head! LOL
Why do you know Russia’s country code? LOL! I am great at memorizing numbers. I used to know all the phone numbers for every pizza place in Troy. Now I memorize cost center’s for work and vendor numbers. And thanks to Jerry McGuire, I know that the human head weighs eight pounds.
Because it is 007… like James Bond.
These are awesome! 🙂
Thanks! I had a hard time choosing what to share! LOL
