My Television Debut | Wordless Wednesday
If you are an avid follower of Mini Van Dreams, you will know that Monday I had my television debut on a local news station for a segment on fun things to do with your kids during the summer. I have had several people ask me to post it on the blog, so I thought I would share it for (Not So) Wordless Wednesday.
This was an amazing, nerve-wracking experience. But, I don’t think I did half-bad for my first time. Once I got there and on set, the nerves disappeared – so it wasn’t too bad. It was interesting to see the behind-the-scenes action that goes on during a broadcast. I honestly do not know how I would feel about doing it again. It is rather stressful. I was given “talking points” and I practiced all weekend, but it seemed like they didn’t ask me the questions they were supposed to ask me, or give me a chance to talk about my blog like they said. So, that part was a little disappointing. But, it was fun.

Well done!!! I was hoping that you would post the video – so glad I got to see your TV debut!
I looked like a goofball and the camera really does add weight!
I thought you did a wonderful job babe! I enjoyed watching it. Kinda like the staging lane nerves, pull around the tower into the water box and they disappear. I wonder if the news people feel nervous before every newscast or does it get to a point the don’t think about it.
