Tackle Breast Cancer at the Cure Bowl
We all know someone who has been affected by breast cancer – whether a loved one or yourself has been diagnosed, a loved one or friend has died from breast cancer, or perhaps you have had a breast cancer “scare.” One out of eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer during their lifetime. This means either we have already been touched by breast cancer or will be touched in the future.
In December, the Orlando Sports Foundation is celebrating the women who are living with breast cancer today and those will live with it tomorrow. Two teams will compete at the AutoNation Cure Bowl and you can be part of the game!
The Pros Weddings, one of the Cure Bowl sponsors is inviting you to share your breast cancer story for a chance to be part of the historic game!
The Cure Bowl isn’t just a football game – it is a memorial to those who have lost their battle with breast cancer and hope for those fighting to survive this deadly disease. It’s a rally cry to the world to bring awareness about breast cancer and to find a cure for this horrific disease.
This nationally televised, historic football game will be played at the newly renovated Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Florida. The new bowl game will feature teams from the American Athletic Conference and the Sun Belt Conference. Florida Hospital will also be hosting mammogram screenings on game day in the “Cure Village” at the stadium. Funds raised from the Cure Bowl will directly benefit organizations, such as the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, and others searching for a cure.
