Simple Sunday: Burst. It Cloud Photo and Video Storage (GIVEAWAY!)

So, by now you know I am constantly in search of ways to make my life easier. This in turn creates more time for me to spend with the kids and frees me up to scrapbook! As a blogger, I am relatively new to the review and giveaway scene. I have joined some mom-blogger groups, one of these being Mom Select.

Through Mom Select, I was chosen to review Burst. It’s website and iPhone app and to host a giveaway for their lifetime storage plan, which has an estimated value of $60 a year!

I really didn’t know what to expect. I went to Burst’s website and set up my account. SUPER EASY. They only needed my email, name, and a password. You can choose to input your cell number also—which I did. The best part was, they sent out an email and password to ensure that the information was correct! No worries about making a mistake and Joe in Timbuktu receiving your pictures and videos.

I was intrigued.

I then went and downloaded the app in the Apple Store. Quick. Easy. Painless. I logged in and everything linked up immediately.

The app, as well as the website, is very very user friendly. Nice and clean graphics and the navigation is super-simple to use. I went to the import option to load some pictures from my phone into (onto?) the cloud. It is very simple—just a matter of clicking the circle on the picture you want. I was even able to upload my Instagram photos.

After uploading pictures, you can easily add a title, tags, make comments or share them. I decided to try sharing a picture to my work email address because we have the Fort Knox of web filters and I wanted to see what happened. It was very simple to type in the email address (and save it for future use). I also saw where you could share it thru Facebook as well. You also have the option to add a message to the receiver, set the privacy on the picture and to restrict the receiver from resharing it.

I received the email in my in-box… and this is the coolest… it showed the picture in the email, large enough that I could enjoy it. I didn’t have to have an account with Burst to look at it! If someone is at work and can’t get to the website or app, they can still see the Burst. Perfect!

It is also simple to manage your contacts, as well as put them in groups for a mass distribution of a picture or video. You can even add their cell number and they can receive your pictures and videos via SMS text message.

I am so happy I was given the opportunity to review this website. I’m loving it and its only been a few hours since I began using it. I can see this app as being a “keeper” on my phone.

So, here’s the deal. I want you to go check it out. I encourage you to go to their website and register, as well downloading the app for your iPhone or Android.

The best part is… Burst is allowing me to host a giveaway for their lifetime cloud storage plan, which they are estimating to be about $60 a year. How cool is that?

So, enter below. The giveaway is going to end at midnight (EST) August 9th. You can enter once per day. Meanwhile, go check them out at Burst or on your phone!

In exchange for this blog review, I have received a Burst.it lifetime storage plan as part of a promotional program with Mom Select.
