I found this on a friend’s blog and thought I would join in for something a little different…

1. I used to HATE oranges when I was a kid

I didn’t start eating them until about 6 or 7 years ago.

2. I am unorganized now.

I used to be super-organized.  I had lists of my lists.  My grocery list was alphabetized and in order by the layout of the store. My Christmas lists were on Excel. I now have twins.  I don’t have time to be that organized.

3. I dye my hair.

I’ve been dying my hair since highschool.  I honestly don’t know what the natural color is.

4. I was never an animal person– just dogs and cats.

These days… nothing scares me.  Guess it comes from living closer to the “country” and having friends with animals.  The day I picked up a duckling without squealing, I thought my mom would keel over in a dead faint.

5. I love outdoors.

I used to love to hike.  But, I haven’t been hiking since I was in high school.

6. I used to play clarinet– in band, in a community orchestra, and take private lessons.

I haven’t touched my clarinet since I graduated high school.  I’m not even sure I could remember the keys for the notes.

7.  I used to be super-critical about everyone and everything.

I didn’t stop or realize it until I met my husband and he would point it out to me.  So, I try as hard as I can to not be like that.

8. My ultimate dream is to be a professional race car driver.

I know it will never happen.  But, then and now… I would love to be a professional drag racer.

9. I used to love to fish, now the idea of it makes my eyes roll.

We use to go fishing all the time as a kid… but, since I was old enough to stay home I would bow out.  I used to love it… sitting there with my pole waiting for a bite.  These days, I think I would rather go to the dentist.

10. I love to read– both then and now.

I love to read.  All the time.  When I was in highschool, I used to stay up and read all night, go to school, come home and do it again.  These days, I have to sneak on my reading while the kids are playing…
