Monday Listicles: 10 Smells I Love

It’s Monday again.  Is anyone else dragging after the time change?  Sheesh.  It’s Monday Listicle time.  This week’s topic is 10 Smells that I Love.  Next week’s topic is 10 Great Things About Our Partner.  So, join in on the fun!  We’d love to have you!

1.  My kids after a bath.

2.  Nitro at the track on a cool morning.

3.  Burning rubber.

4.  Chocolate chip cookies baking.

5.  Daisies.

6.  Vanilla anything.

7.  Baking bread.

8.  Spicy scents– like cinnamon, nutmeg, etc.

9.  Those cinnamon bun candles– you know, the ones that you buy and they don’t smell like they do at the store.  I think its a conspiracy.

10.  “Real” popcorn made in a hot oil popper like at the movie theater.

  1. Ahh … I so love the smell of a fresh clean kiddo right out of the tub!! And of course you love the smell of burning rubber. LOL ~Sharon

  2. If your son is anything like my kids… the clean kid smell lasts until they hit the bathroom door… then its game on! LOL.

  4. I love that smell… standing by the water box, black rubber smoke surrounding you, getting pelted by pieces of tire… good times. LOL.

  5. Interesting to see what weird smells show up (burning rubber)…also gasoline, bleach, disinfectant, permanent markers.

  6. Number 10 made my list too. Also love the smell of vanilla and pretty much anything baking in the oven. But burning rubber? Not so much. Lol.

  7. oddly, I get the burning rubber thing. there are some smells, I suppose like also gasoline or bleach, that are kind of repugnant….but we still smell them too. it’s a love/hate scent thing I guess.

    Personally, I love me a Sharpie pen just uncapped 🙂

  8. I’m like that with my Staz-On ink pad… I should have included that one on the list. I just love the smell of it.

  11. I love anything coconut scented. Hawaiian Tropics tanning oil. Bvlgari black on the hubs. And my CLEAN kids only lol

  13. What a complex person you are. I’m guessing there aren’t too many people who love the smell of both daisies and nitro at the track. 🙂
