KitchenMade Stainless Steel Measuring Cups
I don’t know about you, but I think we are still using the plastic measuring cups that I bought when we had our first house. You can’t even read the measurements anymore… I would rewrite the sizes with permanent marker every once in awhile. So, when I was given a chance to review KitchenMaid’s™ Stainless Steel Measuring Cups I jumped at the chance. And, yes, I threw away all the old plastic ones…
I immediately put these measuring cups to use (after washing them, of course!) They come in a variety of sizes – which is what I love – 1/4 cup, 1/3 cup, 1/2 cup, 2/3 cup, 3/4 cup and 1 cup. Plus, the equivalent milliliter measurements are on the side. But, the cool part is… each measuring cup has a lesser measurement marked. So, the 1 cup has the 1/2 cup marked – no more dirtying two or more measuring cups to get the correct measurements! Plus, the measurements are embossed into the stainless steel – no more black marker measurements for me!
They are made out of heavy duty stainless steel and are dishwasher safe and FDA approved. And, since they are stainless steel they won’t rust if they aren’t dried completely when put away! They also have a lifetime guarantee!
Something else I love about them… when you are measuring you can sit them down while they are empty or partially empty and they won’t tip over! They also have a little pour spout to help when pouring liquids or dry ingredients.
