Guilty Pleasures… shhhhh.
Ahhhh…. guilty pleasures. A guilty pleasure is defined as something, such as a movie, television program, or vice, that one enjoys despite feeling that it is not generally held in high regard. Hmmmm. And, that’s this week’s Monday Listicles topic! Well, we all know this blog and my writing is transparent… I tell it like it is. So, are you ready to find out my secret guilty pleasures?
10 Guilty Pleasures
- Watching 24 – #jackisback baby!
- Are You Being Served?
- Vin Diesel

- Scrapbook paper
- Eating buttercream icing right out of the container or bowl
- Jack and Coke, on the rocks (with a little bit of Coke)
- Reading historical romance novels
- Watching Turbo
That is 10, and trust me… I could go on and on, but I can’t tell ALL my secrets.
What are YOUR guilty pleasures?

I could have continued on beyond 10 as well. I didn’t add the can of frosting like you did because I had already admitted to licking and cleaning out other sickening sweet things :/! Defintely a food theme going on this week.
lol @ Vin Diesel being a guilty pleasure.
I also have a weakness for scrapbook paper…there is NO way in the world I will ever get around to using all the paper I’ve been collecting lately…but some are sooooooooo clever and eye-catching…I can’t help it.I have another bad habit (or guilty pleasure) – scraping the side of the bowl after making cake mix or any kind of dough…I know that it’s bad for you to do because of the raw egg factor, but I still do it.
Food was the first thing I thought of too. I have so many…
Me either! I have stacks of paper. Just because its pretty or I “might” use it someday. I eat the cake batter too… I even let my kids do it too. I am such a bad mom. LOL.
That is too funny that you included “Are You Being Served?” My hubby is a Brit and I’ve watched that show, but it’s never really drawn me in. Yum–buttercream frosting. The store-bought stuff, or the stuff they use on cheap bakery cakes, is just not the same. Guess I am a frosting snob!!
Turbo is such a cute movie! I think I need too watch it again.
I used to be able to do the whole opening sequence. Whenever my dad and I would get into an elevator together – no matter if there were other people or not – we would recite it.
Hmmm I guess I’ll go with (you’ll love this one haha) eating cottage cheese with pickles and crackers…. Yum don’t knock until you try it. Crunching potato chips into an almost empty container of chip dip. We both share the frosting out of the container but for me I think it tastes better as your icing the cake after the cake is done out kinda of loses a little something for me
Great list!! 1,4,5 and 8 are my faves!!
