My Growing Up Reward Chart Review

Being a mom, I know how well rewards work for my kids in getting them to do the things I want – whether it be brushing their teeth, getting dressed, or whatever it is.  In the past, I have used paper charts with stickers and check marks.  When I was asked to review the My Growing Up Reward Chart by the Victoria Chart Company I was excited!

The My Growing Up Reward Chart is a charting kit that comes with all the supplies you need to encourage the behaviors and actions you want.  There are stickers pre-printed with the actions and blank ones for you to write special ones.  There is also starts for doing a great job and counter stickers for completing a task.  It also comes with a huge wall chart, wipe-off marker, and hangers.

Each kit includes:

• 11″ x 25″ wall chart
• 10 Pre-printed Activity/Task stickers
• 6 Blank Activity/Task Stickers
• 240 Color-Coded counting stickers
• 84 Gold Star Stickers
• Dry Erase Marker
• Sticky mounting tape

This chart is awesome alone… but it is even better because the stickers are REUSABLE!  You read that right.  You can peel them off and use them again and again – change the tasks and activities, start over after reaching a goal.  They peel right off easily and you can put them back on the mounting paper they originally were on and you are good to go!

We have used this chart for a few weeks now.  The kids love comparing how many number stickers they have and if they have any gold stars.  Plus, I love how it gives them more responsibility and they know exactly what is expected of them.
