Since my kids no longer believe in Santa, our elf – Scarlett – tends to get into some elf-y escapades while the kids are asleep. She has been known to hang upside down from the fan, hide in the fridge, and even camp out in front of the fireplace.
As part of our traditions, Scarlett begins visiting each night shortly after Thanksgiving and up until Christmas eve. Her last night with us, before she returns home to the North Pole, she leaves a gift for each of the kids – pajamas to wear Christmas eve
