TGIF! I am so glad it’s Friday. It has been a long and crazy week. Tomorrow, the boys are taking another swing at the swing set. I will be there to supervise though, so hopefully it will go much better. Tonight I am getting my hair cut… can’t wait. 1. What is your next home improvement goal?
Where do I even begin? We moved into our house when I was pregnant with the twins, and now that they are older it is hit or miss on home improvement stuff. I finally have the dining room completed (just don’t look at the ceiling!) I also recently laid new floor in the bathroom. I think next up is going to be the hallway so I can hang up the vinyl lettering I bought for the wall at one of those parties. It’s been in the closet for two years. Maybe Nana would watch the kids on a weekend for me… Nana?
2. If you could only read one book for the rest of your life, what would it be? No religious texts (i.e. Bible, Quran, Torah, etc, etc)…
Definitely, Into the Wilderness by Sara Donati. It is one of my favorite books ever… I have literally probably read it 20 times. I only dream of having as much spunk as she has to stand up to her family and villagers for the love of a good man.
3. What is on top of your refrigerator?
Two kites, some paperwork, batteries and a lot of dust.
4. What are your favorite or most used phone apps?
Definitely Facebook Messenger, Pinterest, Twitter, Charity Miles and my signal booster.
5. What’s the one thing you hate most about your spouse’s job?
Hmmmmm. I really don’t know much about his job. He works at a car manufacturer’s research and development center. He gets to do all sorts of cool tests and play with robots and stuff. I guess it would be the fact that he works in the middle of a corn field (literally) and has to take some pretty crappy country roads to get there… and in the winter they are really bad.
