Five Question Friday – April 5th

April 5, 2013

I am soooo glad today is Friday.  Monday, I pinched my sciatic nerve and have been out of commission all week.  I ended up taking Thursday off to rest– if by rest you mean lying on the recliner and working with the laptop propped on a pillow.  But, I digress… Tomorrow, we are taking the kids to get their new bikes.  I am so excited.  It might turn into a scavenger hunt though— all I can get out of them is Bo wants a “green” bike and Mo wants a “purple” one.  Sounds like a long day… lol.  Hopefully, when we get back home though it will be warm enough for riding them!  Think I can talk the Hubs into buying me one too?

Well, it’s time for Five Question Friday!
Rules for 5QF: Copy and paste the following questions to your blog post, answer them, then watch for the linky post to appear Friday morning and LINK UP!

Oh, and remember (pay close attention…this is the important one)…HAVE FUN!

Questions for Friday, April 4th: (Special thanks to Pam (@trooppetrie) from Troop Petrie, Melissa (@Melissa_M80), Brooke (@HallBro) from Brooke and Michael, Kate (@KatieB38) from ~Kate’s Life~, and little ol’ moi for these 5QF question suggestions! Mama M would love to link you in a future 5QF, so follow her on Twitter (@5crookedhalos) and/or like her Facebook page and watch for the Thursday shout out plea for questions! Remember to @5crookedhalos and use hashtag #5QF if you go the Twitter route!)

1. Would you go to your high school reunion?

Probably not.  I wasn’t really close with most people in high school– I was a band geek.  The people I were close with have gone their own way.  Now, if we had a band reunion… definitely.

2. What’s something that you’ve recently splurged on; either for yourself or someone else?

My new Coach purse.

3. How do you handle your child’s fever?

It depends on the child… Bo never responds to Tylenol, so he is a Motrin kid.  Mo doesn’t respond to Motrin, so she gets Tylenol.  Other than that, lots of love and snuggles– and movies.

4. What’s the nicest thing to happen to you lately?

Hmmmmm….. uhhhhh…. let’s see…. LOL.  I would have to say how Nana and the twins took such good care of me when I was off work with my back.  They would bring me things and were always asking if I was okay and if I needed anything.

5. What is your current favorite song?

Alicia Key’s “Girl on Fire.”, but I will always hold a special place in my heart for BTO’s “Takin’ Care of Business.”
