“It’s tradition!”  Once, in band, our new band director told us that tradition was just something that had never been changed.  I never agreed with this, but have always remembered it.  Tradition is defined as “the handing down of statements, beliefs, legends, customs, information, etc., from generation to generation, especially by word of mouth or by practice.”  Where would we be without traditions?

So, you are probably wondering why I am waxing poetic on traditions on a Monday.  It’s Monday Listicle time and our topic is Traditions, which was suggested by my blog-buddy Christine.  Next week’s topic is 10 Things That Aren’t the Same, as suggested by yours truly.
