Easy Chocolate Pastries

These easy chocolate pastries were a favorite of my brother’s when he was in high school.  While in French class, the students had to bring in a treat for the class to try that was French.  Jeff couldn’t come up with anything so he took crescent rolls, wrapped them around chocolate and dusted them with powdered sugar.  He called them Jeff’s French Pastries.  Whatever you call them, they are simply amazing!

    1. I have two methods I use… because I always forget to buy eggs. Lol. Try a 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce for each egg OR try 1-1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil mixed with 1-1/2 tablespoons water and 1 teaspoon baking POWDER per egg. Unfortunately it is a trial and error process on which one tastes and works the best.
