Quick shout out to Nana! Today’s her birthday! For today’s delicious recipe, I am sharing my quick Chicken Fiesta Salad. This is perfect on a hot summer day and easily made to your specific tastes. It’s even good in a packed lunch! All the toppings and ingredients are super simple and can be thrown together for a healthy, delicious meal in no time! And, before I get any comments… I did forget the chicken in the picture! Enjoy!
Today’s recipe for Chicken Tortellini Soup was one of those grocery store creations that I come up with standing in the aisle. I was hankering for homemade chicken noodle soup, but I wanted something with a bit more substance to it. So, while walking through the deli and dairy area, I saw refrigerated cheese tortellini and thought… Aha! This was quick and easy to throw together… and to prove to you that we live in the real world… Don was late getting home so my tortellini fell apart a bit. So, make sure you read the instructions on the tortellini package! Serve this chicken tortellini soup with some crusty French bread or garlic bread and enjoy!
Baby, it’s cold outside. And, nothing is better on a chilly winter day than potato soup… and absolutely nothing beats not having to stand over the stove all day to keep an eye on it! You can throw all the ingredients for our cheesy crockpot potato soup into the slow cooker and it will be ready when you get home from the cold outdoors. Warm up tonight with our delicious (and easy) potato soup… Yum.
This layered salad has to be one of my favorite picnic foods. Usually I make a ton of it so there are leftovers… so much I get sick of eating it! Its so simple to throw together and serve at your next picnic or potluck. Enjoy!
Before making ham and beans, I really didn’t realize how easy it truly was. I wasn’t going to share the recipe, but I thought maybe I wasn’t the only one who didn’t realize how easy it was! So, I am going to share my recipe… it tasted just like mom’s. Serve it with hot cornbread and enjoy.
