I love a good donut. Throw in a delicious, sugary topping and I am all for it! Of course, donuts are usually fried and really aren’t that good for you. But, my recipe for baked cinnamon sugar donuts is a delicious alternative! They don’t even taste like they are baked! They do take a bit to make, but they are SOOOOOO worth it. Enjoy!
If you are looking for something fun and spicy to take to your next get together… look no further. My jalapeno popper dip is the answer to your prayers. This amazingly gooey and spicy dip is perfect with crackers, tortilla chips, and raw veggies. It’s also a cinch to prepare – much easier than stuffing a bunch of jalapenos to make poppers! This one is definitely a keeper!
I think these No Bake Oatmeal Power Balls are my new go-to snack! So delicious and, if you eat them frozen, they are a perfect snack for that afternoon sweet tooth! Plus, they are a cinch to make since they do not require cooking and very minimal effort – in fact, the twins helped make this batch! Just pick out your favorite trail mix (raisins are a yummy addition!) and grab your food processor and let’s get to power-balling!
I love queso blanco or cheese dip. However, I hate that it normally contains that processed brick cheese. I swear, that stuff is too similar to plastic to be good for you. I thought I would see what I could come up with that didn’t use the plastic cheese wannabe. This was actually my first try and it’s definitely a keeper. No processed cheese and a delicious, creamy texture. Even Mo liked it. Enjoy.
There is nothing better in the salsa family than Vidalia Onion and Peach Salsa. I first tried this lovely, sweet salsa in Amish Country. I fell in love. I actually ordered a case of it from Kauffman’s Bakery a week later. I decided to see if I could recreate it… and here it is. Definitely, one of my favorite salsas… and, think outside the chips… try it on chicken, in tacos, on fish…
