Philly Chicken Sausages | Mini Van Dreams

Philly Chicken Sausages

4 chicken sausages with flavoring (we used jalapeno)

4 brat buns

2 Tablespoons spicy brown mustard

1/2 sweet onion, sliced

1 green bell pepper, sliced

1 Tablespoon olive oil

1 cup shredded cheese

In medium, non-stick skillet brown sausages, adding water as needed to keep from sticking.  Cook for the amount of time indicated on the package.  Meanwhile, in a small, non-stick skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-low heat.  Add the onions and green peppers, sauteing until they are tender crisp.  Remove from heat.  Place sausage in bun, top with 1/2 Tablespoon spicy brown mustard, place 1/4 of onion-pepper mixture down the center, then top with 1/4 cup shredded cheese.
