A St. Patrick’s Day Subway Art free printable is on tap today (pun intended). Even if you aren’t Irish, St. Patty’s Day allows you to drink green beer, dance, eat beef and cabbage, and be merry. But, do you know where the celebration truly came from? It is in honor of Saint Patrick, one of the most well-known patron saints in Ireland.
This basketball subway art free printable is in honor of March Madness. Don and I used to be big into basketball – especially professional. We loved the Bulls and watching Michael Jordan play. Back in the day, I literally could recite stats for the players and tell you their colleges, etc. Once Jordan retired, however, we kind of lost the thrill of it, and haven’t watched much since. Today I am sharing my new Free Recipe Cards Printable with an Arrow design. This weekend I was going through my recipe box and discarding recipes that we didn’t like or would never make. I realized I needed recipe cards but none of the designs I had on hand fit my mood. So, I decided to make some plain-Jane recipe cards that could be used for anything food related.
I have said it before, and I will say it again… WRITE YOUR RECIPES DOWN. I cannot tell you how many times I have thought, “Oh, I wish I had that recipe from so-and-so,” but they have long since passed away and no one knows the exact ingredients and amounts. Get yourself a recipe box – if you don’t already have one – and get to writing down the recipes in your head. Generations from now might be thankful that you jotted down Great Grandma Jones’ apple pie recipe.
These simple recipe cards are 4 x 6 and can be printed on your printer at home. Or, feel free to have several printed at an office supply store. However, these are for personal or classroom use only!
To print, click the recipe card or link below. I recommend printing these on card stock for the best durability. You can usually buy 8.5 x 11″ white card stock cheap at Joann’s, Hobby Lobby, or other stores. (See your printer manual on the best way to feed the card stock through your particular printer.) For best results, I recommend that you download the .PDF to your computer and do not print directly from Google Docs. Also, make sure you use the printer option to print to actual size. Print them. Then, cut them out using the outside of the black line as a guide! Simple as that! Please feel free to make as many as you need.
Pssst… tomorrow is Valentine’s Day! If you are looking for an inexpensive Valentine’s Day gift, look no further! If you are looking for something festive to hang in your office or cubicle, you’ve come to the right place! Print out this super cute and free Valentines Day Subway Art printable. You can use it “as is” or trim it and put it in an 8 x 10 frame. You could also use it as wrapping paper for a gift for your Valentine. Enjoy!
There are a lot of books that have made an impact on my life growing up and into adulthood. One of my favorite authors, of all time, is Dr. Seuss. Dr. Seuss’s rhyming stories have followed me through life and have given me idioms to enjoy life to the fullest. Dr. Seuss has popped up in obscure places… Oh The Places You’ll Go! was read to us at high school graduation. When graduating with my master’s degree, one of my good friends sent me Seuss-isms! that is now sitting on the shelf in my office. And, I am probably one of the few 35+ year olds that can still recite most of Green Eggs and Ham from memory.
