Pepperoni Pizza Chili– the best of both worlds. You can’t beat a good pot of chili or a pepperoni pizza. This recipe for pepperoni pizza chili is both… perfect for football season or a cool fall day after raking leaves. Definitely, make this one your own– throw in your favorite pizza toppings. Black olives. Mushrooms. Green peppers. Yum. Enjoy!
Oh yum! Cabbage roll casserole. My mother in law use to make the best cabbage rolls. As much as we love them, I just don’t have time to roll a bunch of cabbage rolls and allow them to cook for hours. Thankfully, I stumbled across an unstuffed cabbage roll recipe several years ago and it has been tweaked into this delicious cabbage roll casserole. We love to have this dish when the weather starts to get cold. Serve it up with a piece of buttered dark rye bread and and enjoy.
Today’s recipe for Easy Lemon Bars is delicious! And, so very simple. I think I ate two straight from the oven… burning my mouth in the process.
If you are looking for a simple dessert addition to the Thanksgiving table or you forgot you needed to take something to Grandma’s house… these are perfect! Literally, two ingredients can be thrown together into a delicious and simple dessert. You can’t go wrong with these…. Mmmmmmmm.
Today at work, the girls and I were talking comfort food. We were trying to explain to my friend (who grew up out west) about our foods in Ohio… chicken and noodles, beer hot shots, buckeyes… Whenever I mention roast beef hot shots, depending on who I am talking to, I sometimes get a strange look. They don’t know what I am talking about.
I usually then say, “You know, Beef Manhattans.” Sometimes that clears it up, other times I have to describe the deliciousness of roast beef hot shots to which the usual response is “Those sound amazing.” (Don’t even get my started about “Cincinnati-style spaghetti.”)
So, my friends near and far… here is the recipe for roast beef hot shots for your dining pleasure.
